If you follow my work you’ve likely noticed I’ve slowed down significantly in the past year. This is because I have zero motivation for art unless I have a deadline to meet. I’m finally allowing myself to stop feeling guilty about it.I’ll likely still post the occasional art related thing. I have some upcoming zines for the remainder of 2023 that I’m a part of, etc.Commissions will be closed until further notice, unless I need to open them for emergencies.I’m just very burnt out and need time to rest and learn to love drawing again. I reserve the right to deny any commission, requested changes, or refunds.By commissioning me, you automatically agree to the following terms of service:
USE RIGHTS:Commissioned artworks are to be used for personal and non-commercial use only. Please contact me about purchasing a license to the artwork if you intend to or wish to use it commercially (ie. selling as merchandise).I reserve all rights to the artwork created under commission and may use the commissioned artwork in promotional materials (ie. social media posts, future commission examples, portfolio galleries).The client may make minor edits to their commissioned artwork (ie. cropping and resizing the image). The client may not remove or obscure my signature (ONSHRIKE).My works are not permitted to be used as NFTs (None-Fungible Tokens), on the blockchain, and or other blockchain technology and cryptocurrency formats.My works are not permitted to be used in AI (Artificial Intelligence) art algorithms, used for AI training, and or other procedurally generated systems.PAYMENT:All payments are fulfilled up-front via PayPal invoice, or as otherwise discussed. All price estimates as well as invoices are listed in USD (United States Dollars). Please contact me for pricing in another currency.The work process will not begin until I have received the agreed-upon initial payment. If the client has not paid and wishes to cancel their commission, the client is expected to communicate this.Once the work process has started, commissions may only be refunded partially. Please contact me immediately about full or partial refunds.WORK PROCESS:Please include a summary of your commission request as well as all relevant reference materials.Unless otherwise specified, the client will receive multiple work-in-progress images during the creative process and will be permitted to request changes. The client is expected to voice any changes and or issues with the artwork while I am working; any need for partial refunds are also expected to be discussed during this process. Refunds WILL NOT be permitted after the artwork has been completed and shown to the client.The client is expected to communicate effectively. Should any client not respond within 30 days after receiving work-in-progress images for approval, I will proceed with the commissioned work as I see fit.The client is expected to respect my time and be patient with the work process. Unless outside circumstances interfere with my ability to (ie. injury, crisis, technological failure), I will never go longer than 30 days without contacting a client. If longer than 30 days have passed, please contact me.FULFILLMENT:Unless otherwise specified, the client should expect a turnaround of 1 to 2 months.Unless otherwise specified, the client is purchasing a digital artwork and will receive no physical items or incur any postal shipping costs.If a commissioned artwork is required by a specific deadline, the client may be charged a rush fee. The fee will be discussed before finalizing payment.
This information is sent to every client before accepting their commission. The client confirms that by requesting a commission they have read and accepted the information.Any potential problems or concerns relating to commissions not stated above will be determined case-by-case.
